Lyn Hurst

North Carolina artist, Lyn Hurst, is a High Point import for the last 40 years.  As an art student at East Carolina University in the 70's, she fell in love with interior design.

Currently, the medium she loves is anything that creates an ebb and flow... watercolors, inks, high flow acrylics, and even cold wax and oils. 

Everything holds inspiration for her.  "I love to work with the color pallets that are in a room setting as well as the pull of adjacent room colors.  The curves of the upholstery, texture, pattern, and color of the fabrics, as well as the angles of casegoods, are all elements that are considered when I am painting."
